What is the payment timeline for custom services?

  • Digital Artwork: Payment is full upfront. 

  • Custom Canvas Artwork: A 50% payment is required upfront. The remaining 50% is due upon completion of the painting. Then, shipping payments are requested before the artwork is shipped.

  • Other: For other custom services, a timeline will be given before an agreement is made.

What guidelines determine pricing?

  • Digital Artwork: Time is the only variable that determines the pricing.

  • Physical Artwork (Canvas, Print, etc.): Number of subjects, estimated time, cost of supplies, and cost of shipping materials all determine the initial pricing. Shipping pricing is determined after the painting is near completion.

How long does it take to get my custom artwork?

  • Digital Artwork: Approximately 1 week.

  • Canvas Sized 18 by 24 inches or Smaller: 2-3 weeks (excluding delivery time).

  • Canvas Sized Larger than 18 by 24 inches: 1-3 months (excluding delivery time).

    Expedited options are available upon request. Expect additional fees for expedited requests.

What is the full customization process?

  1. Initiating the Commission: When a client expresses interest through DM’s or submits a commission request through our website, we reach out to the customer to better understand their unique vision, preferences, and specific requirements.

  2. Understanding Preferences: We inquire about the client's preferred artistic medium (acrylic, digital, etc.), desired size, color scheme, themes, and any additional details they wish to incorporate. Reference photos are encouraged to enhance our understanding of their vision. For realistic artwork, subjects closely mirror the client's photos, while aspects such as background, color palette, and other adjustments are tailored to their liking.

  3. Determine Price and Timeline: The elements above collectively influence the pricing and timeline of the commissioned piece. A price will be provided based on these preferences. Price ranges can be found below based on art category.

  4. Payment and Commencement: Once we are in agreement with the artwork creation and fees, the customer and artist will sign a contract to document the agreement. A 50% payment is required upfront as a non-refundable deposit. Once the client makes the first payment, we start on creating their custom artwork. Throughout the process, we provide regular updates and seek additional information as necessary to ensure the client's expectations are met. When the artwork is completed, shipping payments are determined and additional shipping payment is requested before the artwork is shipped. The remaining 50% of the initial payment is due upon completion and delivery of the artwork.

  5. Finalizing the Artwork: As the artwork nears completion, we share a final version with the client, inviting feedback and any desired adjustments. Reasonable adjustments are made free of charge to ensure complete satisfaction.

  6. Delivery Process: For digital artwork, the final version is sent through email or the preferred social media messaging system once the final payment is made. In the case of physical pieces (canvas, print, etc.), we estimate shipping fees and request additional shipping payment from the customer. Once the customer completes the final portion and shipping payment, the artwork is shipped out and the customer will be provided with a tracking number.

How do I place a custom art order?

Can I make changes to my order after it's been placed?

  • I'm happy to accommodate reasonable changes to ensure your satisfaction. Feel free to discuss any minor adjustments you have in mind, and we will do our best to incorporate them into the artwork. However, please note that drastic changes might be challenging to implement once the creative process has begun.

Can I request specific elements or themes in my custom artwork?

  • Absolutely! We welcome and encourage clients to share their preferences and ideas for their custom artwork. Your input helps us create a piece that truly resonates with your vision. Please feel free to share any specific elements, themes, or concepts you have in mind, and we will do our best to incorporate them into the artwork.

What materials do you use for your custom artwork?

  • The paintings are typically acrylic paint on stretched canvas, but other mediums can be requested. We also offer digital art. Digital art is shared as a PNG or transparent PNG.

Do you offer different sizes for custom artwork?

  • Yes, of course! For custom artwork, we offer a range of sizes to ensure you can choose the dimensions that best suit your space and aesthetic preferences. For stretched canvas, sizes include 8x10, 11x14, 16x20, 18x24, 24x36, or 30x40 inches. If you have a specific size in mind or need assistance deciding, feel free to let us know, and we'll be happy to guide you through the options!

How is shipping calculated, and what shipping options are available?

  • Shipping is determined by the shipping company. Shipping fees may vary based on the destination and the size of the artwork.

Do you ship internationally?

  • Yes, we do offer international shipping for custom artwork. However, please note that the client is responsible for covering the shipping costs associated with international deliveries. 

  • If you encounter any shipping issues at checkout, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We’re here to help and will do our utmost to assist you.

How is the artwork packaged to ensure it arrives safely?

  • The artwork is carefully protected with plastic wrap and bubble wrap, and securely packaged in a side-loader cardboard box. For larger paintings, additional cardboard sheets are included for extra protection. To ensure safe handling, warning stickers are placed on the outside of the packaging.

What is your refund policy for custom artwork?

  • We do not offer refunds for commissioned pieces. The nature of custom artwork involves a collaborative process, and once the project is initiated, resources, time, and creative effort are committed. However, if the artist is unable to complete the commission due to unforeseen circumstances, the client shall be entitled to a full refund of any payments made. If you have any concerns or questions about the process, please feel free to discuss them with us before placing an order. Our goal is to provide you with a unique and personalized piece of art that you'll cherish. 

How are issues with damaged or incorrect orders addressed?

  • We take great care in ensuring that your custom artwork is securely packaged for transit, however if you would like to add insurance to your shipment, please discuss these concerns with us before we ship the artwork. 

  • If there is an error in the order, such as receiving the incorrect artwork, we will take immediate steps to rectify the mistake. Please notify us with details of the discrepancy, and we will arrange for the correct item to be sent to you.

Can I cancel my order, and is there a cancellation fee?

  • While we do accommodate order cancellations, please be aware that if the creative process has already begun, there might be a cancellation fee to cover the time and resources invested up to that point.

Can I see examples of your previous custom artworks?

  • Absolutely! Feel free to browse our Services, which includes examples of previous commissions. You can also visit our Reviews to see feedback from past customers.

How would you describe your artistic style?

  • The artist specializes in semi-realistic portraits, but also creates abstract art. For digital art, their artistic style falls into two separate categories: digital painting or cartoon art.

Do you offer gift wrapping or personalized notes for gifts?

  • Yes, we are open to discussing gift wrapping or personal notes for gifts, but please be aware that these additions would come with extra costs. 

Can I order multiple copies of the same custom artwork?

  • Certainly! We offer the option to order multiple copies of the same custom artwork in the form of prints. The prints are available in a range of sizes, starting from 4x6 inches up to 13x19 inches. The pricing for prints takes into consideration various factors, including the cost of materials, the time invested in scanning (for physical pieces), the printing process, and associated shipping costs. Are there discounts for bulk orders or recurring clients?

  • Yes! While we currently do not offer discounts for bulk orders of canvas paintings, we do offer discounted pricing for bulk orders of stickers and cards. In addition, as a special incentive for our loyal customers, we provide a 10% discount on your next order with us when you leave a review and sign up for our newsletter.
